The batik print skirt, promising a precise fit, comes with one pocket, providing utmost functionality. To note, batik is an Indonesian technique of wax-resist dyeing. Before being dipped in dye, melted wax is applied to the entire cloth. The wax holds to the fabric and allows cracking, which is a characteristic of batik. Wherever the wax has seeped through the fabric, the dye does not penetrate and gives birth to such a delightful print.
